When my child uses Satchel One the option to send / upload files is greyed out and cannot be clicked.

If your child shares a computer or device with other people please check that they are not logged in to Satchel One with a parent account. A parent account cannot submit homework or files back to the teacher or complete quizes.

How to check what account your child is logged in with:

If using a computer:

With Stachel One open in a web browser, in the far left of the screen the currently logged in users name will be visible. Under the name of the user it if there is a pin code this shows the parent account is currently logged in. If your child is not logged in with their own account please sign out of Satchel One, clear the computers web browser cache and get them to log back in using their own student account. To clear your browsers cache please see below:

If your child uses a shared computer with other family members it is advised that you create multiple login accounts rather than sharing one account to avoid issues like this from frequently occuring. Creating a user account for your computer is a quick and easy thing to do. Please consult the following guides which explain how to make another user account:

If using mobile app (Android & iOS):

In the top left hand corner tap on the menu icon, the logged in users name will now appear. Under the name of the user it if there is a pin code this shows the parent account is currently logged in. If your child is not logged in with their student account please sign out of Satchel One and log back in using their own student account.
