Someone told me Office is free for students. Is this true?

They’re correct, as a student of Fred Longworth High School you allowed to download and install a copy of Microsoft Office for free on your computer. You can also download Microsoft Office applications for your tablet or smartphone for free (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneNote, OneDrive, Teams). All you need to do is register your copy of Office or any of the apps for mobile devices by logging in with your school e-mail address and password once installed. With your school e-mail address you are allowed to install Office or apps on up to five devices.

Note: When you are no longer enrolled as a student at this school the features are deactivated but the software can be reactivated if you move onto another school, college or educational establishment which operate the same licensing terms with Microsoft or you purchase your own Office 365 subscription.
