When your teacher sets up a lesson in Microsoft Teams they will have sent an invitation out to every student of the class to attend the lesson. You will need to accept the lesson invitation from the teacher which will then put an appointment in your e-mail calendar. To do this it is advised that download and use Microsoft Outlook with your school e-mail account on a smartphone or tablet. Microsoft Outlook will then send a reminder to your device to tell you to attend the lesson just before it begins. All you need to do is tap on the invitation and Teams will then load up the meeting (if Teams is install and signed in with your school account on your device). If you plan on using Microsoft Teams on a computer you will receive an alert through Teams (providing it is logged in before the lesson is due to start) but it is recommended to install and configure Microsoft Outlook on your smartphone or tablet so you still receive an reminder on your device to attend the lesson before it starts. All you need to do is sit in front of your computer and join your lesson. For information on how to install Microsoft Outlook on a smartphone or tablet please consult the following knowledge-base page (opens in new tab within your web browser):
