Things to celebrate
- This week, students have had an assembly and taken part in various activities to mark the passing of Queen Elizabeth. Our students have responded with respect and maturity.
- We were thrilled to welcome prospective students from our feeder primary schools to our Year 6 Taster days this week, which aim to provide all year 6 students with an opportunity to experience a flavour of life at Freddie’s.
- We are pleased that so many students have taken letters in order to represent Freddie’s at our upcoming Open Evening. If your child is yet to volunteer, they are welcome to collect a letter and join the team. All years welcome.

Personal Development
The next character trait that we will be focusing on is Confidence. If students are confident, they are likely to be motivated, perform well, form good relationships and they will believe in themselves. A confident student is more likely to succeed than one who lacks confidence. Key information on ‘being confident’ is included below.

Message from the Headteacher
Dear Parents and Carers,
This week, through our year group assemblies, our Arts and PE staff have been busy promoting the many extra-curricular activities and clubs we offer here in school. Taking part in such activities really does help to develop so many positive aspects of a young person’s character, and we hope that all of our students are able to find something that will interest them. A link to our offer can be found below.
Regards,
Mr Davies.
