The following documents give guidance on how you should conduct yourself in examinations, prepare the coursework for some exams and when work is being done under “Controlled Assessment” conditions.
Year 11 – Summer Examinations Timetable – May 8 to June 18, 2025
CONTINGENCY DAY – IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
The awarding bodies have designated Wednesday, 25th June 2025 as the Contingency day for examinations. The afternoon of Wednesday, 11th June has been designated as Contingency afternoon for examinations. This is consistent with the Qualification Regulators’ document exams system Contingency plan: England, Wales and Northern Ireland.
The designation of Contingency days within the examination timetable is in the event of national or significant local disruption to examinations in the United Kingdom. It is part of the awarding bodies’ standard contingency planning.
Centres must therefore remind candidates that they must remain available until Wednesday, 25th June 2025, should an awarding body need to invoke its contingency plan.
GCSE RESULTS DAY – 2025:
GCSE Results Day is Thursday, 21st August 2025.
