Head of Year

Salary: Grade 8 (£33,945 – £38,223) – Pay Award Pending
Hours: Full Time, 37 hours per week
Start date: Required for September 2024
 

We wish to appoint a full-time Head of Year to join our strong and highly supportive pastoral team. The person appointed will be responsible for Year 9 and will remain as their Head of Year until they leave school in Year 11.

The successful applicant will be joining the school at an exciting and significant time. In October 2023, the school moved into a brand-new building. The appointed person will be working team in state-of-the-art facilities.

Administrator

We are seeking to appoint an Administrator to join our busy and committed team. The person appointed will be enthusiastic, have previous experience of office/administrative duties and have confidence, professionalism and excellent communication skills when dealing with people at all levels.

The successful candidate will need to have a minimum of two years’ experience of working in an educational or office setting and must possess GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

Resource Centre Manager

We wish to appoint a full-time librarian to manage the school’s library and resource centre. The purpose of the role is to ensure that this resource is used to inspire, support and engage students of all ages and abilities in the school. We would welcome applications from suitable applicants with a range of experience. The Library and Resource Centre sits within the English Faculty of the school. If you have a talent and the potential to be an outstanding member of this faculty, we look forward to receiving your application. 

The successful applicant will also be joining the school at a particularly exciting and significant time. Cover Supervisor

Start date: Required as soon as possible

We are seeking to appoint a Cover Supervisor to join our team in providing classroom supervision of students in the short-term absence of a teacher. The successful candidate will need to have experience of working with or caring for children and must have good Numeracy and Literacy skills.

Apprentice Teachers (x2) - Languages & Science

Salary: Unqualified Teachers PayScale (£20,958 to £27,406) + automatic enrolment into Kingsbridge EIP SCITT well-being Plan throughout the duration of training
Study Level: Postgraduate – School Led
Start date: Asap with training to begin in June/July 2023
Contract Type: This vacancy is initially for a minimum fixed contract of twelve months and on completion of the apprenticeship training leading to Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Working Pattern: 1,265 hours over 195 days of the year in line with the Statutory Teacher Pay and Conditions Document
Training: You’ll receive a combination of classroom teaching and off-the-job training as you work towards Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
