Changes of Times to the school day after half term

At the start of this term, the Headteacher wrote to all families to explain that the school day times will change after the February Half Term.

This is to confirm that when we return lunchtime will reduce from 45 minutes to 40 minutes. The new times for lunch will be 1:20 to 2:00pm. The end of the school day will also subsequently change from 3:05pm to 3:00pm.

On Monday Week B the arrangements will be as follows. Lunchtime will be at 12:20 to 1:00 and school will close to students at 2:00pm.

As explained in previous communications, this is happening because we are now using facial recognition software in the canteen which, along with the efficiency of the new space, has significantly speeded up service time at lunchtime. 40 minutes is more than adequate time for all students to have their lunch.
