Remote Access for Staff
Our school provides staff the ability to connect remotely to the school network if they need to work offsite by use of a VPN service.
If you have been provided with a laptop by school this functionality will already be set up for you to use. Staff are however allowed to connect their own personal computers or laptops to our VPN service to carry out accessing our network remotely.
Recently we changed how our VPN service works. If your device (either school assigned or personal) has the Cisco VPN service installed it will need to be replaced. This can be done quite easily by following the information below, but if you are unsure please feel free to contact us.
Setting up the VPN service
Depending on your device, refer to the appropriate information as outlined below.
For staff using an iMac or MacBook contact our ICT Support department who will be able to assist you with connecting to our VPN service.
