Dear Parent/Carer
Students have received a copy of the option booklet today which can also be accessed via this link and there is now an opportunity to book an appointment with a designated member of the Senior Leadership Team to discuss your subject choices for next year.
The evening will take place remotely using the Internet based booking system School Cloud Online. Using this system, you will be able to book the appointment at a time that suits you best. You can access the system from any internet-connected device and your appointment will take place via a video conferencing link.
Appointments are available between 3.15 pm and 8 pm for either Wednesday, 16 February 2022 or Thursday, 17 February 2022. Individual staff availability will be made available to you through the link provided. Appointments will last 10 minutes. It is advised that you are online and ready for your appointment a few minutes beforehand. At the end of the allocated time slot, the appointment will close. As the appointments are time limited, we would also advise that if you have any specific questions, you prepare these beforehand.
You will be able to book appointments from 7 pm on Friday 11 February 2022.
The closing date for booking appointments will be 7 pm on Tuesday 15 February 2022.
The option selection process will take place on-line this year. Your son/daughter will receive an email sent to their school email address on Monday 14 February containing a unique pin number, student username and their progression route. They will need this to be able to complete the on-line form.
The on-line form will go live on Friday 18 February, 2022, following the two days of option discussions. The closing date for submission is Friday, 4 March 2022.
As well as the option booklet provided there are also a number of subject videos on the school website that will be able to provide your son/daughter with further information that can be accessed via this link.
