What are your fondest memories of school?
Being Head Girl in Year 11, I loved giving back to a school that had built my confidence and helped me grow!
Elected as head boy; becoming an arts college and playing in brass band; being involved in starting rugby league team.
I moved to Freddies in Year 10 from another high school. I will always remember how kind everyone was when I was the new girl.
Maths lessons with Mr Adamson. Had an amazing class and we always had a brilliant time. I really owe all those maths lessons to where I am now.
The support of teachers when I found I had diabetes, the friends I made, I came from a class of 10 kids at Hindsford so Freddies seemed huge, thought id get so lost but knew the place like the back of my hand in a year.
Being able to perform in the musicals we put on and produced, fell in love with construction, met people who made the days even better.
I actually really enjoyed school, I was more of a creative person so I loved Art and Hairdressing I definitely loved the social side of school too, my fondest memories were probably the team building activities the school provided where we did Tug of war and enterprise challenges, I think these kind of things helped build the foundations for good personal skills and social skills especially helpful for my line of work today.
